For the person reading.
And the little person listening.

The best part is being together

Not another thing for them to scroll.
A story for you to share.

You hold the phone. They follow the adventure. Story Nest brings a new tale to your bedtime, shaped by the things they love and the boundaries you choose.

01 / Make it theirs

A little of their world.

Start with their profile: favourite things, familiar faces and anything you’d rather leave out.

02 / Settle in

Your voice brings it alive.

Open their story and read aloud together. A quiet adventure, a funny voice, a moment just for you.

03 / Keep the favourites

“That one again.”

Keep the stories they ask for again in your library, ready for another read together.

Story Nest 2.1: original fairy-tale artwork alongside the real profile screen with separate protagonist and story-style choices.

New in Story Nest 2.1

Their favourites.
More ways to imagine.

Choose who stars: your child, an original story character, or a mix across bedtimes. Then choose the style: a personalised adventure or an original traditional-style fairy tale or fable. Your child needn’t always be the hero.

Save a different default for each child. Optional Family Bedtime gives each child their own story, plus one to share.

Dark mode runs throughout the app, with a quick moon and sun switch in the reader.

Available now in Story Nest 2.1 on the App Store.

Before you settle in

A few useful answers.

Is Story Nest for children to use themselves?

No. It’s designed for parents and carers to choose and read stories aloud. The phone is your reading tool, not something your child needs to watch.

What makes the stories personal?

Your child’s profile, preferences and boundaries shape the story. You stay in control of what you share. Read about personalised stories.

Are the stories checked for safety?

Story Nest uses automated safety checks and your chosen boundaries. AI can still make mistakes; parents and carers should check each story before reading it aloud. Tell us about a concern.

What is Family Bedtime?

An optional part of Story Nest 2.1 for families with more than one child: each child can have their own story at bedtime, plus one story to share together.
